This Super Green Smoothie is an awesome mix of greens and fruit. It’s a perfect on-the-go breakfast or an afternoon snack if you need a boost of energy. The best part is the mix of fruit masks the taste of kale and spinach so it makes the smoothie great for all ages. Just what I love – a hearty mix of healthy and happy! And not to worry – if there’s a berry you don’t like you can easily substitute and switch up the recipe to include your favorite fruits.
Makes about 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of spinach
- 1 cup of kale
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 cup of strawberries and raspberries
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
Ingredients to top:
- Granola
- Fresh Berries
- Shredded Coconut
- Sliced Almonds
- Flax Seeds
- Pecans
Instructions:
- Add almond milk, spinach, kale, berries, banana and chia seeds to blender.
- Add additional spinach or almond milk as needed. More spinach to thicken the smoothie bowl or add more almond milk for a smoother smoothie, then blend again
- Get creative and design the toppings to your hearts content!
- Pour a bowl for a friend and enjoy!
