Why have 1 berry when you can have 3?! That was precisely my question when I made this Triple Berry Protein Smoothie recipe. It’s super easy to make, creamy and you can use frozen fruit to save time.
Plus if you need an afternoon energy boost? The Chia seeds will definetly help you with that! Did you know that chia seeds give you energy because of their mix of protein, fats and fiber combined plus they’re lowcarb.
This recipe is also great for breakfast or an after workout meal. I would recommend adding a scoop of Vega Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder.
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana (frozen is best)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup frozen blackberries
- 1/2 cup coconut water (I used Bai coconut water)
- 1 tbs. chia seeds
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Vega Vanilla protein powder)
Instructions:
Step 1: Combine all ingredients into high speed blender or food processor (I have a Ninja) until thick and creamy!
Step 2: Pour into glass and ENJOY!
